Like many musicians, bands and artists out there, Human Nature came up against COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns which resulted in the group postponing some of their 2021 tour dates.
As a result, the Live 2022 Rebooted - People Get Ready, Again tour will bring together elements of the Good Good Life tour and People Get Ready AAA tour into one amalgamated show.
Fans with tickets to postponed shows have been encouraged to hang onto their tickets as they will be valid for new dates with the same seating.
Band member Phil Burton said if COVID had taught anyone one thing it was how to be flexible and patient.
"We have always said we would complete our tour commitments and even though it's taken a little longer than anticipated, we are certain we will get to each and every city and town scheduled on this tour and even hopefully add more dates," he said.
"This blended show will represent all our career highlights, song favourites, and some surprises."
The iconic foursome will take the audience on a journey through their careers and their best hits.
"It's not a type of tour we have done before, and the shows we have done have been amazing," Burton said.
"I think [the audience] like getting a feel for this kind of thing, they like getting to know artists."
Tasmania was last visited by the band about 2017, and Burton was excited to get back to the island state.
"I think because we don't get the opportunity to come down there as often it feels a lot more special when you do get there and I think the crowd thinks that as well," he said.
"The audience seems to be on an extra level of excitement at the start of the show."
For the gig world to see some sense of normalcy, Burton said it was important for anyone who was able to get vaccinated to do so.
"I think it's the only way out. This Delta variant is so contagious," he said.
Fellow band member Andrew Tierney also urged the community to get vaccinated so everyone could start enjoying music together again.
