An Ulverstone woman was left in disbelief after becoming $10,000 richer.
The woman won the money after purchasing Instant Scratch-Its at the East Devonport Newsagency and Lotto.
The woman said she was pleasantly surprised by her top prize win.
"I dropped the kids off at school and then I popped into the newsagency," she said.
"And I saw they had these little mystery packs of scratchies."
She said she decided to buy one and sat down to scratch them when she got home.
"When I saw I'd won the top prize on this ticket, I couldn't believe it.
"I thought 'this can't be right'.
"I checked it so many times because I was so overwhelmed.
"I thought it had to be a fake, or a dud! I even questioned it was a joke ticket, but it's not."
She said the money would certainly come in handy.
"I want to be sensible with my prize, so I won't do anything too crazy.
"I need to do some upgrades around the house so that will be the main priority.
"The kids will get a little treat too!"
