A chance for St Pats to further their dynasty awaits, gunning for six out of the last seven flags but for the Demons, its their first time having both sides in the grand final since joining the NTFA.
"It's all seemed to work like a bit of a dream," said coach Zach Deane.
"The depth we've had around the club this year and obviously celebrating the 100th year as a club and both sides making the grand final, you can't really ask for much more.
"The icing on the cake would be to bring home two mugs so hopefully we can do that."
After the Saints went through the regular season undefeated, Deane's Demons got the better of them two weeks ago to qualify for the grand final.
But the coach isn't getting too far ahead of himself.
"Grand final day, anything can happen, we just need to keep the pressure on them early and not settle into their normal finals routine.
"They've been pretty successful over the past six or seven years ... so they've got the experience here [while] we've got a lot of young blokes that haven't played in a flag."
St Pats coach Sean Barry is confident despite the shock nine-point loss.
"I think it was something that we needed at the time," he said.
"With such a new group this year, it hadn't been challenged throughout the season, it was really good to taste the loss and obviously it was better to have that week then rather than now or last week."
Describing last week's win as their "best game of the year", Barry's group, which features 13 new faces, isn't feeling the pressure of previous years.
"I think after having the year off with COVID and such a new group, it's more of a motivating thing than a hinderance being under pressure.
"You don't want to be the people [that lose] if we happen to lose one but that's the same with any other team. Lilydale have got to their first grand final in a while and they don't to be the team that doesn't win it."
