
Week two of the Tasmanian State League finals series has been confirmed along with start times for grand final day.
Launceston's UTAS Stadium will host all three grand finals on Sunday, September 12, with the under-18s at 9am followed by the Development League at 11:30am and TSL, featuring home club North Launceston for the eighth year running, at 2:30pm.
After finishing as minor premier, Launceston has earned the right to host finals in week one and two and will welcome Clarence to Windsor Park on Sunday afternoon.
State League officials said the condition of the Riverside venue will be continually monitored, and, as was the case in week one of the finals, a ground assessment will take place before game day including representatives from West Tamar Council.
This clash between the Blues and 'Roos promises to be an entertaining affair following Clarence's narrow victory in round 20. This senior preliminary final will start at 1pm following the under-18 equivalent between Launceston and Lauderdale at 10:45am.
Clarence will meet North Launceston in the Development League preliminary final on Saturday although the time and venue is yet to be announced.
Two weeks after staging a historic weekend of AFL finals, UTAS Stadium will stage al the State League deciders on Sunday, September 12.
The under-18 grand final will see Clarence meet the winner of this weekend's preliminary final between Launceston and Lauderdale.
The Development League showpiece will see Launceston play either Clarence or North Launceston.
And the TSL decider will be between Brad Cox-Goodyer's resurgent Northern Bombers and the winner of this weekend's preliminary final between Launceston and Clarence.
North booked its spot with Saturday's 10.8 (68) to 8.11 (59) win over the Blues at Windsor Park which featured a thrilling final quarter full of momentum swings.
