
A Longford man who pleaded not guilty to firearm charges and aggravated assault in relation to a shooting incident in Norwood withdrew his bail application on Wednesday.
Ziggy Robert Brunskill, 27, pleaded not guilty on Monday to a count of recklessly discharge a firearm and a count of recklessly discharge a firearm subsequent to the first count and a count of aggravated assault on July 24.
Defence counsel Ben Ashman withdrew the bail application which had been opposed by Tasmania Police.
Magistrate Sharon Cure told the court that she had been supplied with a disc relevant to the bail application but had not yet had a chance to view it.
On Monday police prosecutor Mike Bonde made an application to cancel a drug treatment order to which Ms Cure admitted Mr Brunskill in June.
She adjourned a number of matters to September 3 at 11.30am and remanded Mr Brunskill in custody.
Matters relating to the alleged shooting incident in Boiton Hill Road, Norwood, have been adjourned to the Supreme Court in Launceston until September 14 at 2.15pm.
