Celebrate Father's Day in style with the Junction Arts Festival's annual Tweed Ride, bringing together cycling enthusiasts, tweed wearers and cultural historians for an event not to be missed.

The ride invites the community to slip on their best tweed outfit, get on a bicycle, and ride through the streets of Launceston.
The event, supported by the Tamar Bicycle Users Group, has attracted many vintage bikes and penny farthings, as well as some iconic outfits from a time long gone.
"You would think you had stepped back 100 years; it's quite the sight ... everyone is on bicycles wearing tweed woolens, tartan bow ties and dapper suits of yesteryear," Junction's artistic director Greg Clarke said.
A complimentary morning tea will follow the ride, and the event will close with a parade of the best tweed outfits. The winner will take home a medal for their outfit efforts.
The Tweed Ride will be held September 5. Individual tickets are $10 and family passes are $20.
