The Torns haven't played in seven weeks and there's no sign of that drought ending any time soon with coronavirus lockdowns causing chaos to the NBL1 South fixture.
Torns chairman Neil Grose said there would be a number of challenges to getting back onto the court, but the intent was to push forward with the season.
"In NBL1 South we have teams in Tasmania, Victoria, NSW and SA, so that's the challenge," Grose said.
Grose said the future of the season hinges on if and when Victoria comes out of lockdown.
"If we get to the final series it will likely be in Melbourne, which is a shame for Launceston because we should be having a home final ... but that's not guaranteed either because it really depends on the COVID situation," he said.
"The frustration is we have a playing list that could take us to a championship."

The fifth-placed Torns continue to train twice a week and prepare for games, putting the team in an excellent position as most of its opponents have been in lockdown for several weeks.
NBL1 is in contact with Grose daily to work on possible solutions.
"We floated an idea for a bubble in Tasmania, but NBL1 is semi-professional, so one or two players are under contract, but the rest of the players have other employment or they're parents and they just can't do it," Grose said.
