Originally scheduled to meet at 10.15am Sunday at Invermay Park, the two qualifying final competitors will instead play at 10.15am Saturday at St Helens before two division one finals.
The NTFAW elimination final between Bridgenorth and Old Launcestonians remains at 7pm Friday at Invermay Park.
Last year's NTFA Shield premier, Scottsdale was set to have "five or six" of its best 22 absent through work and coaching commitments had the game been played on Sunday.
Coach Cabel Hall said he was happy to have more of his best 22 available for the Saturday timeslot, but was disappointed not to have had the option of playing a full-strength squad on Friday night.

Typically in finals, teams playing qualifying finals are given Friday or Saturday fixtures to allow for a longer rest leading into the following week, while elimination finals are typically scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday.
"We've just got to respect the decision of the NTFA - we're prepared to play anywhere, any time," Hall said.
"It would have been really nice to be able to play Friday night - us and Scotch, we finished second and third on the ladder so we probably deserved that chance to play earlier ... but we're prepared to play anywhere, any time."
Hall said differences in work arrangements meant Sunday fixtures often proved more difficult in women's football than in men's.
In a statement, the NTFA said the venue change presented a great opportunity to take the game to the East Coast, which fields a team in the NTJFA's under-17 girls division two competition.
"This is an exciting opportunity to showcase women's football on the East Coast, and hopefully inspire more young women to take up the game in the region," the statement read.
The NTFA said the possibility of playing both games on Friday night had been discussed.
The winner of Saturday's game will meet Launceston for the chance to play in the grand final.
