Anyone currently in Tasmania who has been in the regions since July 29 will be under stay-at-home restrictions.
It follows the announcement of a three-day lockdown for the regions after an unexpected case of COVID-19 was infectious in the community for 10 days.
People under the stay-at-home order must stay at their primary residence and must not have visitors.

However, they may leave home for the purposes of shopping for essential supplies, undertaking outdoor exercise, attending medical appointments or for work or study if this is not possible from home.
When leaving home, masks must be worn, unless exempted.
