Men's coach Stephen McMullen said he was pleased with the Tigers chosen.

The squad includes Kookaburras and Olympians Eddie Ockendon and Josh Beltz.

"We've got a great list ... we've got some really solid players within the group as well," McMullen said.

"We've got some former internationals and then some up-and-coming future Kookaburras as well, so it's a great list."

Women's coach Luke Doerner said he was really happy with the depth of his selected team.

He said Dutch import signing Esmee Broekhuizen played for the Tigers last season, and fitted in well with the Tassie players.

"We look forward to getting her back amongst the girls," Doerner said.
