Northern Rangers host Ulverstone at the NTCA Ground at 4.30pm knowing the match will go a huge way to deciding the title.
Aside from one loss to Riverside, Ulvy have amassed 14 wins from 15 games, including a 5-0 defeat of Rangers a month ago and the not inconsiderable cushion of a +112 goal difference.
Aside from that loss, Rangers have drawn one, won their other 12 and played a game less so know a win on Saturday and in their extra match would put them top with a handful of games remaining.
The competition's subplot comes in the race for the golden boot with the top three sides all represented.
Another brace against Burnie last week has Riverside's Meg Connolly leading the way on 29 but Lucy Reimer also claimed a couple in Ulverstone's 10-1 win over Devonport to sit just three behind.
Northern Rangers' prolific captain Febey Pearce is also in contention three goals further back with seven goals separating the trio from the chasing pack.
Olympic host a Launceston United side with just four wins to its name since the club stepped up to the Super League.
