MOUNTAIN CABLE CAR

THERE is no point in having a referendum regarding the Mount Wellington cable car as Hobart City Alderman Marti Zucco has suggested unless it is held in just the Greater Hobart area only. It is not a project of state significance and people living in other parts of Tasmania would not be overly concerned if it went ahead or not. It is not in their backyard so why be concerned?
