The season will feature 162 greyhound, 71 thoroughbred and 87 harness meetings.
After the success of the single Friday night meeting in Launceston last season, the Tasmanian Turf Club will double-down with an additional Friday night event.
This January 28 addition will feature the Launceston Guineas and Ladbrokes Stakes.
The other meeting, on October 22, is planned to coincide with the Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley.
The majority (19) of Launceston's 26 meetings will be at night.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT:
The break between the Launceston and Hobart cups will be shorter than previous years, with the Tasmanian Derby and Hobart Cup falling on the Regatta Day long weekend.
