An AFL fixture change will see the Hawks play the Lions at UTAS Stadium in Launceston on Sunday.
The teams will lock horns at 2.10pm after strict travel arrangements were agreed upon with the state government.
Saturday's match between Geelong and North Melbourne at Bellerive Oval is also slated to go ahead, Premier Peter Gutwein confirmed.
"The Melbourne teams will fly in and out of Tasmania on the day of the game, and both games are subject to the COVID risk continuing to go in the right direction over the course of this week," he said.

Crowd sizes will be capped at 10,000 people at both games.
Those attending the games will also be required to wear a mask.
"This is the first time that this has been required for football," Gutwein said.
"The mask requirement is something we put in place for other large events such as the Festival of Voices, but we believe it's an important and additional safety measure for an event that a larger group of people will be attending."
