In a clash between second-placed Old Scotch and number three Scottsdale, the former put on their best to claim victory 4.3 (27) to 1.1 (7).
After blanking Old Scotch in the opening quarter, Scottsdale was unable to generate any offence of their own the rest of the game.
Then a three-goal final quarter from the Thistles was enough to see them to a satisfying victory.
Old Scotch's charge was led by Georgia Nicholas, Northern Hawks' Jamie Symons, Kara Hennessy and Sarah Giles who all kicked a goal apiece.
