ELSEWHERE IN SPORT:
More than 1000 survey responses were recorded for the project, which aims to help develop the long-term future of local footy in Tasmania.
"We are excited by the responses to the survey," AFL Tasmania chief executive Damian Gill said.
"It gives us a strong grounding for the project and an understanding of the sentiment and views of the Tasmanian football community.
"It is clear the football community is invested in the future project and understands the importance of the work we are undertaking together."
The town hall meetings will be held in each region, and independently facilitated by consultant Colgan Bauer.
New town hall meeting times:
- Bellerive Oval, Hobart - August 2, 6.30-8.30pm
- Dial Park, Penguin - August 4, 6.30pm-8.30pm
- UTAS Stadium, Launceston - August 6, 6.30pm-8.30pm
