The 18-year-old has scored 10 goals more than all teammates combined to be leading the stats, four ahead of the 23 registered by both Febey Pearce, of Northern Rangers, and Ulverstone's Lucy Reimer.
But Connolly said she could not achieve such numbers without her teammates' support.
"It helps with the people I play with because I get set up heaps by the rest of the team and I feel it has been that way for the last couple of seasons," she said.
"Players like Milly (Wing) and Mia (Findlay) are always flying up the wings and also Marg (White) and Sofia (Bailey) set up plenty of chances."
Jo Haezebrouck's side spiced up the title race by inflicting Ulverstone's solitary loss, 6-3, in round 10. Connolly scored four in that match with one of her other six hat-tricks coming against fellow contender Northern Rangers, but the modest markswoman remains undecided how far she wants to take her soccer career.
"I'm not sure where I want to go yet. I've always played for fun and soccer is a bit of a release for me. It's my outlet where I don't have to think about anything else. I don't want to lose that fun aspect."
Since a shock loss to Burnie, forfeit to Rangers and thumping at Ulverstone when Connolly played in defence, Olympic have seen off all other contenders, scoring 26 goals in the process.
"I think we've been getting better as the year's gone on," Connolly added.
"We started shakily but we're getting stronger and I read in the paper that we've won six games in a row which is really good, especially as that included strong teams like Ulverstone."
