That's the view of Hannah Connolly, who assisted twice in the 2-1 semi-final victory over DiamondBacks.
"We're not sure when and who the grand final will be but it's a big achievement and I don't think anyone was really expecting us to do it because the south is so dominant.
"There's a bit of pressure but it's really exciting to represent the North of the state.
"It's not just for us but all the sides that play up here to try and prove ourselves against the southern sides.
"But we play well as a team and have a strong side this year and have all clicked together well."
After missing finals, the Suns have started the 2021 season well, sitting atop the GNL ladder under Andrew Lancaster.
In a unique twist, Lancaster also coached Connolly's father Chris to South's first GNL premiership in 2014.
"He has been really strong for us this year and knows what he's talking about," she said.
"We've also had a couple of players come back and it's good to have them in midfield."
