Due to the Saints sitting out the NTFA Shield in 2020, eligibility for the side was cut back to 28 games per player, with a squad of 30 reduced to the final 22.
Club president Ian McCallum said that the players selected see it as a great honour.
"It's something they rate very highly and there were four players - Tim Faul, Josh Bellchambers, Lenny Towns and Dayle O'Neill - who made it in back-to-back teams," he said.
"There was also three NTFA best and fairests amongst them - Paul Kelly, Jacob Knight and Dan Withers - who have all won it twice."
Withers and Knight have since moved on from St Pats, with the former plying his trade for North Launceston before breaking his leg earlier this year.
Knight, however, has taken his talents interstate, kicking 80 goals across 12 games for QFA division two side Hinterland, including 12 last weekend.
During that 10-season period, the Saints have won five of the past six second-string reserves premierships, only dropping the 2017 decider against Old Scotch by a goal.
The seniors made three grand finals, losing to Old Scotch in 2014 and '15 before being defeated by Lilydale in 2019.
The club's seniors sit in fifth position this season and look set to make another finals series.
After announcing their team of the decade, the Saints will celebrate their 90-year anniversary and induct hall of fame and legends members this Saturday night.
