A man who allegedly snatched a woman's bag in a brazen daylight robbery at Kings Meadows on Sunday has been charged.

The 24-year-old Rocherlea man was slapped with a stealing charge and will now face court.
The alleged incident occurred about midday when a woman was walking at Kings Meadows.
A spokesperson for Tasmania Police said the man had been bailed and would appear in the Launceston Magistrates court in September.
Anyone who witnessed the incident has been urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
