One of the survivors was transported by helicopter from the scene of the crash on the Bass Highway to the Royal Hobart Hospital but had since been relocated to the LGH.
A male patient initially being treated at the LGH was transferred to the RHH on Sunday but also remained in a stable condition.
The four remaining survivors were being treated at the LGH across the weekend.
The crash occurred when a family-of-five from interstate driving a grey Ford EcoSport crossed the centre line of the highway and into the path of an oncoming Mitsubishi Pajero, which contained two parents and a four-week-old infant, according to Tasmanian Police Inspector Ruth Orr.
The driver and front-seat passenger of the Ford EcoSport died at the scene. They were believed to be parents on holiday in Tasmania with their three children.
The crash occurred about 11.15 on Saturday morning.
