The beloved book event will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Launceston Conference Centre to raise valuable funds to help City Mission.
Peter Freak, from City Mission, said the book bonanza would have something for everyone this weekend.
"It's a major opportunity I think for people to get, whether it's some of those collectible or more unusual things, or just stocking up for their normal annual supply," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The event is a major fundraiser for City Mission and helps underpin their services throughout the year.
The last Bookfest was held in 2019 after it was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"Particularly in those areas of youth and kids, as well as some of those programs we've got running around with disadvantaged adults and linking them back in with, with services and community," Mr Freak said.
"This is a vital fundraiser for us through the year. It really is a key platform through these winter months when need is particularly high and through these.
"It's grown year on year, it's every year it's grown bigger, we're now in a bigger venue as well, to fit everything in."
Bookfest will be on Friday July 2 to Saturday July 3, from 9am to 4pm at The Launceston Conference Centre at Door of Hope.
