After a competitive three quarters, Clarence had no answers in the final term as the hosts piled on nine goals to win 20.10 (130) to 9.7 (61).
Blues coach Mitch Thorp was happy to win in a different fashion to round six, where his side kicked the opening nine goals to have the result locked away by the second term.
"I was really pleased that our fitness level and our work that's been put in over summer and the first part of the home and away season really stood out," he said.
"The longer the last quarter went, the more the boys kept putting the foot down and to finish with nine goals in the last quarter was a really rewarding effort considering the first part of the game was challenging."

Clarence began full of intent and though Blues fans may have expected two 50m-plus goals from a J. Harper, it was Clarence's Jarrod - not reigning player of the year Jobi - who was the toast of the first term.
Down at quarter time, Launceston dominated the second term with Jake Smith and Jack Donnellan goaling early, before Jay Blackberry's classy gather, dodge and checkside extended the lead to 21 points on the stroke of half time.
The Roos threatened to reignite the contest with back-to-back goals at either end of the third term, but Jake Hinds' third goal - coming from a soaring contested grab - opened the floodgates.
Despite largely being well-contained by Zac Buechner, runaway Peter Hudson Medal leader Dylan Riley kicked four late goals to finish with six.
A late bump and ensuing fracas in the game's dying stages ensured the TSL match review panel would investigate a melee for the fifth time in six rounds, but did nothing to stop the flow of scoring, including pinpoint pocket finishes from Brendan Taylor and Brayden Pitcher to ice the win.
"[I'm proud] of the support and care they've got for each other," Thorp said.
"Jack Donnellan got a bit of a late hit there and the boys responded really well, they flew the flag but did it in a way that was disciplined and after that point we kicked four goals in the space of five minutes.
"It really showed how much we care for each other and that's what our environment is all about."
The win also featured rare goals for defensive pair Miller Hodge and Jack Tuthill, while Thorp praised Brodie Palfreyman's tagging effort on opposition coach Jeromey Webberley.
But it was the TSL's new games record holder who again took the limelight.
"Blackberry was our best - when the game was there to be won, he's so balanced inside the contest," Thorp said.
"He led our clearance count today and that's really important for us - with a dangerous forward line clearances are numbers that we really value.
"Jake Hinds had a good game as well, he benefitted in the second half from the work that was done early on and hit the scoreboard as well."
