Police say they have found a weapon allegedly involved in the death of a woman at Ulverstone on Tuesday morning.

"No further details are able to be provided as the matter is now before the courts," police said on Friday morning.
Main St has now reopened and police will leave the scene later today.
Ulverstone man Colin William Drake, 35, has been charged with murder of Queensland woman Gabrielle Marshall, 23.
Mr Drake appeared in the Devonport Magistrates Court on Thursday before Magistrate Tamara Jago.
No plea was entered and bail was not sought.
The matter was adjourned until July 15.
Ms Marshall's family is hoping to raise tens of thousands of dollars to manage funeral costs and look after Ms Marshall's young daughter.
