
With historic AFL club Essendon set to hit Tasmanian shores on Sunday, interest in the Hawthorn clash has gone gangbusters.
With the decision to relocate the MCG's round 14 clash to UTAS Stadium announced on Monday, tickets are yet to go on sale for the Bombers' Launceston debut.

Once on sale, they will be available through the AFL section of Ticketmaster website, which will go live for the general public at 10am on Thursday.

Tickets for Essendon members will be available from 3pm Wednesday until 9am Thursday morning.
In addition to the Launceston clash, Hobart fans were also overjoyed by the news Brisbane will face North Melbourne on Saturday, meaning the Kangaroos will have a three-week stint at Bellerive Oval.
