Wednesday night's stand-alone women's round saw seventh-placed Launceston City hold West Devonport to a score-less draw.
Coming in to the clash having failed to secure ladder points in a month and facing a challenging task on the road, the Tigers held off several early attacks from the Dragons and managed to finish the contest unscathed.
City star Emily Nunn was resolute in defence, named best afield with teammate Kaylee Demarco also impressing as Isabelle Sharman made it a hat-trick of three-vote performances for West.
City Marians returned from the bye with a bang, defeating Devonport 6-0.
A trio of early penalty-corner conversions from Molly Rasmussen and Brooke Grubb caught Devonport on the back foot before Charlie Vandenberg added another and Rasmussen completed her hat-trick in the first half.
Vandenberg sealed the deal in the second as the game evened out, with Zayna Jackson controlling plenty of the play and Allison Fry, Jess Bailey and Mackenzie Emmerton the shining lights for Devonport.
