The Launceston Tornadoes guard has accepted an offer to play collegiate ball with Stonehill Easton in Massachusetts, United States.
Hayward has played with NWBU team the Penguin Blues, the Torns, the Basketball Tasmania High Performance teams and represented the state at nationals.
Most recently, the 19-year-old was part of the Tasmanian women's under-20 team where she tallied 62 total points across six games.

For the Penguins, Hayward averaged more than 12 points and nearly three assists per game.
They play the Burnie Tigers in the second semi-final.
The Stonehill Easton Skyhawks play division two NCAA basketball in the Northeast 10 conference.
They finished first in the conference in the 2019-2020 season.
Hayward joins a long list of current and former Tasmanian basketballers to head over to the USA, including fellow Tornado - Burnie's Mariah Payne.
Both the Launceston Tornadoes and Basketball Tasmania congratulated Hayward on her signing via social media.
