The Bulldogs led for the bulk of the contest, holding a 19-point lead heading into the final term but the Tigers pushed hard, ultimately falling a goal short.
League-leader Luke Murfitt-Cowen was the only multiple goalkicker of the game, booting two to raise the bat for his half century, while teammates Connor Pearton and Alexander both impressed.

Deloraine created a logjam atop the NTFA ladder, defeating Bracknell 4.8 (32) to 3.11 (29).

The two sides traded blows all day, with Bracknell leading at every break of the contest, but the Redlegs were only able to add another seven behinds to their total in the last half, giving the Kangaroos a sniff that they gladly took.
Andrew Gleeson, Karlton Wadley, Callum Smith and Jayden Carpenter kicked the goals for Deloraine as Brayden Butler did his thing, while Callum Mulder, Corry Goodluck and Matty Hayward found the sticks for Bracknell, with Matty Dennis earning his second best-on gong.
Outside of the top four, Scottsdale took fifth spot off Rocherlea with a 6.7 (43) to 4.11 (35) win.

Coach Ethan Petterwood was the Pies' best, while opposing leader Andrew Cox-Goodyer also impressed alongside captain Luke Richards as Jacob Hawkins kicked two.
Bridgenorth put pressure on the Magpies, joining them on 16 points as the Parrots defeated George Town 7.8 (50) to 2.7 (19).
The visiting Saints were goalless for the first three terms until Anthony Axton and Luke Henry broke the deadlock in the last, which saw George Town outscore their rivals.
For the Parrots, Rohan Sergeant kicked his 22nd and 23rd majors of the season as the lone multiple goalkicker, while Corey Sheppard, Jacob Gilpin, Casey Walker-Russell, James Griffiths and Sol Scott also registered six points.
Ryan Sheppard, Wian Dekker, Scott and Sam Curtis were the Parrots' best, while coach Saints Adam Zanevra, Dylan Burr and Brennan Marinkovic toiled hard.
