Launceston out-worked Hobart in every aspect in the only NBL1 South women's match of the week.
Tassie's teams went blow-for-blow to start the match, but the Torns were able to spread the scoring across their role players.
Former Torn Ellie Collins was determined to keep her team in the contest; she led her team with 18 points.
However, momentum began to swing, with Torns veteran Kelsey Griffin (28 points, 15 rebounds) dropping two superb three-pointers.
The 33-year-old kept rolling in the second quarter, proving to be a physical force on all fronts.
Launceston was able to control the tempo of the game once the side established a comfortable lead, but some hiccups at the rim kept things somewhat tense.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT:
The Torns were able to conjure composure thanks to a dominant layup from D'Asia Chambers.
Much like last week, Chambers had another quality offensive game with 14 points and five assists.
The North-West crowd also let our a roar after Smithton's Emerson Wells dropped a dime of a three-pointer in the final minutes of the half.
The Chargers did themselves no favours in the second half, committing a number of turnovers giving the Torns a feast in the scoring.
After missing on the rebound in the first half, the Torns tightened up their form and were barely leaving the paint without points in the third quarter.
This was certainly the case with Burnie's Mariah Payne (29pts, 9reb, 7ast), who bounded effortlessly in transition and bullied her way to the rim on multiple occasions.
Launceston had stellar looks at a distance as well, finishing up 12-25 in three pointers.
