Extinction Rebellion protesters marched from City Park to Civic Square on Saturday to draw attention to their belief the government is not doing enough on climate change.

The protest coincided with World Environment Day, which aims to get people reflecting on their impact on the environment.
Some of the protesters dressed up as "sibyls", which have become a recognisable part of the Extinction Rebellion protests in recent times.
In ancient Greece, the sibyls told the future and gave warnings.
With overcast skies, Launceston residents turned out with signs and drums as well as song and dance performances throughout the event.
The protesters had a police permit for their protest which closed down St John Street and banked up traffic in other parts of the CBD while the event was ongoing.
The organisation wants to see the federal government declare a climate emergency as well as work harder to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prevent biodiversity.
