A 17-year-old has died in hospital four days after a motorcycle crash in Newnham.

Tasmania Police confirmed the teenage boy had died of his injuries.
He was one of two teenagers involved in the crash on Tompsons Lane about 6pm on Thursday, May 27.
They were on a blue Yamaha trail bike that reportedly crashed with a Holden ute at the intersection with Franmaree Road, Newnham.
At the time, police said the two boys were thrown from the bike and received significant injuries.

The 16-year-old was in a stable conditions, the 17-year-old was in a critical condition.
Police offered their thoughts to the families involved.
"Our condolences are with the family and friends of those affected," Tasmania Police said in a statement.
