Labor leader Rebecca White says she wants to hold on to the job, following the party's third state election loss in a row.

In her first interview since election day, Ms White said it had been an "incredible honour" to be the leader of the party since 2017 and that she wanted to continue in the role.
"I'd certainly like to [remain leader]," she told the ABC. "I'd really like to. Because I really enjoy this job."
"The fire still burns within me. I feel like there's unfinished business."
IN OTHER NEWS:
"But that decision will not be made until next week, until we know the final make-up of the parliament."
Labor frontbencher David O'Byrne has often been touted as an alternative leader but Ms White said she hoped the party would reach a consensus decision and be spared a leadership contest.
"I think the last thing the Labor Party needs is a fight," she said.
