However, she said she was more concerned about his mental health.
Ms Lambie also said that if Premier Peter Gutwein knew about it and used Mr Brooks for his popularity to win a seat, she was disgusted in the state Liberal Party.
"If those stories are true, then (Mr Brooks) will need to resign, there is no doubt, but quite honestly, I am more worried about Adam Brooks' mental health than anything else, and I don't think anybody else has had the courage to say that. I will be brutally honest here. I am terribly concerned about Adam Brooks' mental health.
"I can see when he was in parliament last time he withdrew because of his mental health, and I still believe he has issues with his own mental health.''
Ms Lambie said it was up to Mr Brooks to come out and deny that, and she questioned how much Peter Gutwein knew before Mr Brooks stood at the election.
"I would find that even more disheartening if that is the truth of the matter, and Gutwein knew about that and still took his money and ran him," she said.
"I would be very concerned if Adam Brooks was preselected in the first place because of his popularity and because of his money.
"If the Premier was aware of the situation any credibility the Premier has just built, he's just lost.
"I guess that is all going to come out over the next few weeks, but if that be the case to make sure you kept a seat and won a seat you're using Mr Brooks for that, then that is disgusting on behalf of the state Liberal Party in Tasmania."
IN OTHER NEWS:
It comes after the ABC aired allegations Mr Brooks used a fake Victorian driver's licence which has been referred to police.
The report said two women allege they dated Mr Brooks, who told them his name was Terry Brooks.
Mr Brooks denied the allegations and said he was being subject to a smear campaign and is considering his options.
The report included a photo purporting to be of the woman with Mr Brooks and security camera vision of the two kissing in her backyard.
Senator Lambie said with all the accusations levelled at Mr Brooks for him to take a seat in parliament if it did turn out to be true, the Premier had a major problem on his hands.
"Not only may he be up on criminal charges, but his credibility has just been shot," she said.
"What I am more worried about, though, is if the Premier does know the truth behind this and he is not telling the truth, then I really do have a problem with that.

"I would hope that Mr Brooks is not lying about his online profile, but right now, everything you see does not look good towards Mr Brooks."
Senator Lambie said in these situations, the truth always came out in the end.
"That's going to be very unfortunate if that is the truth, and once again, Mr Brooks has been caught out lying."
Premier Peter Gutwein said the allegations about Mr Brooks were deeply concerning.
"I spoke to him this morning and he continues to deny them, as he has done from the time they were first raised," Mr Gutwein said.
"Mr Brooks has advised he is pursuing his legal options, and I note it has been reported that certain aspects of the matter will be referred to Tasmanian Police for investigation. Given these circumstances it is not appropriate for me to comment further at this time."
