The couple recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends at the Tamar Yacht Club.
It was a wonderful and symbolic occasion for the pair, who met at the Tamar Yacht Club originally before embarking on a love-filled life that has spanned seven decades together.

It's been a jam-packed journey for the couple who enjoy time with their three children, seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren these days.
"We did a lot of things in our marriage, Geoff raced motorbikes, flew a plane and we just built a lot of houses and did a lot of moving around," Mrs Martin said.
If we had any squabbles, we'd sort it out by bed time but we didn't have many to worry about though.

The couple said that the one thing they love about each other most of all, after seven decades of marriage, is their "character" and "kindness".
So what is the key to making marriage work for all those years?
Well, according to these two, the old saying "never go to bed angry" is the motto to stick to in a partnership.
"If we had any squabbles, we'd sort it out by bedtime but we didn't have many to worry about though," Mr Martin said.
"We just get on well," Mrs Martin said.
So raise a glass to Mr and Mrs Martin on achieving 70 wonderful years together.
