LAUNCESTON
Coach: Mikayla Binns
Captain: Dearne Taylor
Previous results: TSLW premiers (2020)
Ins: Zoe Lewis, Taylor Leonard, Rikki Blyth, Madison Shaw, Lucy Caldwell, Kiri Tout, Kiara Mills, Holly Leonard, Emma White, Elyse Page, Charlotte Bird, Bella Lade.
Outs: Sian Beeton, Phoebe Barnett, Mia King, Logan Barnett, Jennifer Guy, Georgia Burgess, Daria Bannister, Cecilia Cameron, Camilla Taylor, Brooke Brown, Bianca White, Ange Dickson, Abbie Hoiberg-Cox, Abbey Green.
COACH SAYS: "We are just looking to basically have a bit of fun this year and hopefully win a few games as well.
"Our expectations will probably be looking to play finals and hopefully to get into the grand final but we will be looking to just get into finals and have a bit of fun as well.
"We've had a few rules set upon us coming into the NTFA, which is fair enough, and so we've got to work around that in getting a playing list together.
"We've only got the 11 TSL girls so we can play them as much as possible and work around our list from there, so it's actually quite easy for us regarding those rules to work with those TSL girls.
"Six of the 12 girls coming in to the club have never played football before, so I'm definitely looking forward to developing their skills and being a part of their progression as the season goes on."
DELORAINE
Co-coaches: Brad Powe and Steve Clark
Captain: Renee Walker
From other clubs: Claudia Gardner, Lily James, Renee Walker, Chloe Perry, Kiarnna Lehman (all Meander Valley), Cecilia Cameron (Launceston)
COACH SAYS: "We have no real expectations, except to try and build the foundation for a sustainable future for the girls," Powe said.
"We have 30 girls available for selection this week so our numbers are really good, the interest is solid and there's a good mix of girls that are that age group from 18-25, so the future looks good and sustainable with that.
"It's just about getting some training into the girls and getting the game time into the girls, and hopefully seeing the improvement then.
HILLWOOD
Coach: Dwayne Beeton
Co-captains: Narine Maurangi and Courtney Stanley
From other clubs: Courtney Farrow, Sophie Farrow, Ella McKenzie, Sarah Radford (all North Launceston), Sian Beeton, Courtney Stanley (both Launceston), Kharma Beeton, Janaha Beeton, Mikayla White, Narine Maurangi (all Evandale).
COACH SAYS: "We don't really know [what our expectations are], we are a young side, we just hope to be competitive and hopefully we are thereabouts when the finals come - middle of the road, hopefully, being a first-year side more than likely.
"I reckon if we get there, we've done a pretty good job being a first-year club.
"It's very exciting. I used to play against Hillwood and they've got a good club, good following so hopefully we should get a big crowd against Bridgenorth on our round one - hopefully we can get the four points early."
LONGFORD
Coach: Michael Boyack
Captain: Alanah Boyack
From other clubs: Alanah Boyack, Jordan Budgeon, Kaydee Page (all Prospect under-17s), Emma Barden, Casey Herring, Selena Herring, Courtney Wells (all Evandale), Jade Nichols (Longford under-17s).
COACH SAYS: "The main thing we are looking at is just to improve every week and become competitive.
"We are hopeful of building a culture that we more or less get all the girls back next year - that's what we are aiming at while building a brand new side.
"The best expectation is to be competitive and hope you can hold on to as many players in the upcoming years.
"To see our players go out and improve every week, even at training, girls who could hardly even pick up a football and kick it, to the point where they are pretty much kicking on spot now.
"We've only been together since before Christmas and we got to 16 registered, built to 22 and now we are sitting at around 19-20 players."
