Jack Harrison Vincent Sadler, 27, has pleaded not guilty to the alleged murder in August 2018.
At the Supreme Court of Tasmania's most recent remand day, the trial was set down to begin on April 27.
IN OTHER NEWS:
However, Crown prosecutor John Ransom told Justice Robert Pearce that issues relating to the commitments of defence counsel Greg Richardson meant a slight delay. Mr Sadler is expected to appear on Tuesday, April 27 for directions hearing.
Justice Pearce told Mr Ransom that he wanted to discuss some jury issues with Director of Public Prosecutions Daryl Coates SC this week rather than leave them until next week.
"I will talk to Mr Coates about how to manage the photos and talk to jurors about them and those sort of things," he said.
Mr Anderson-Brettner's body was found in bushland off the Tasman Highway.
