Premier Peter Gutwein said the ground is in need of new change rooms, additional public toilets, storage and medical rooms.
"I'm thrilled we've been able to make this commitment today to deliver the club more modern and inclusive player facilities," he said.
"There is no doubt this venue has more potential to provide a better experience for the 200 plus game day participants.
"Not only will this investment help the club realise its full potential, it will also help it grow into the future.
"Football's popularity is only growing in Tasmania."
