While the glitz and glamour of Supercars drew the crowds, the intermediary races of both the Stadium Super Trucks and Aussie Racing Cars kept them entertained.
Stadium Super Trucks
The loud, rambunctious, yet relatively small pool of super trucks gave spectators goosebumps as they tipped at turns and launched off jumps.
Hulk 4x4's Paul 'the Dude' Morris had a field day at Symmons on Saturday.
The 53-year-old Paul Morris Motorsport owner beat out Road Rage's Shaun Richardson in race one by a mere .3 seconds.
The 2017 Super Trucks champion then won a heated race two on Sunday, able to use a back-and-forth between Darwin Supercars' Shae Davies and PWR's Paul Weel to his advantage.
Davies had his late revenge, however, able to overtake Morris not once but twice in the final laps on the starting straight jumps.
With two wins and one second-place in hand, Morris was named round winner.

Aussie Racing Cars
The Aussie series saw three generations of the Quinn family take to the grid in some fact-paced racing.
Local Legends' Anthony Quinn, as well as son Kent (team Norganic) and grandson Ryder (Local Legends) found themselves racing side-by-side during the weekend.
But it was Devonport's Adam Gowans that got the crowds going, finishing second in the first race after challenging Perenso's Joshua Anderson.
However, Gowans broke away to a sizeable lead in race two, cruising to his 11th win at Symmons over Anderson.
A drag-race between Castrol's Reece Chapman and Simmons Civil's Nick Simmons saw the former win by three hundreths of a second.
Simmons was lucky not to roll over in race four after being rear-ended by Gowans on the fifth turn.
Anderson cruised to a seven-second win and round honours on the weekend, with Gowans edged out by .0043 seconds by WSM's Craig Woods.
