Beaten by a solitary point in Launceston last weekend, the Devils led by 46 points at the main break at Kingborough to down Eastern Ranges 11.11 (77) to 7.8 (50).

Head coach Cameron Joyce was pleased with a performance that saw Noah Holmes, Jacob Young, Lachlan Cowan and Jye Menzie finish as multiple goalkickers.

"Our first half was terrific, the way the boys pressured the ball and then used the ball off the back of that was excellent," Joyce said.

"We really moved the ball, made them defend and were just a bit better in terms of creating some scoring opportunities.

"Sam Banks was excellent, Ollie Davis, Ollie Sanders and Baynen Lowe in the midfield were great and our defenders held up pretty well in the first half conceding just one goal."

Banks was best on ground for the Devils but looks set to miss a number of weeks after sustaining a suspected broken wrist, while Launceston's Bailey Gillow impressed in his Devils debut.

"Bailey did a great job," Joyce said.

"There were a couple of crucial contests he won for us and he certainly played his role today which was great."
