One Launceston grower, Alison Marshall, will be showcasing her pumpkin wares, which tip the scales a around 100 kilograms.
Ms Marshall said the idea of growing the sizeable pumpkins had taken off with other people requesting seeds to try their hand at the activity.
"My little pumpkin has taken 110 days to get to this size ... I've done very little with it, I just popped it in the ground with [some] alpaca manure," she said.
"This year I've only had one plant and it had three fruits, I am very happy with it, if I had thinned it out to just being one fruit it would have been bigger."
