Two goals in a minute in the first quarter from Ansa Le Grange and Maddison Brooks were enough to secure a 2-0 win over Northern Territory.
The Tassie men's team held table-topping Victoria to a 0-0 draw. Captained by Tom Rasmussen, Tasmania sits fourth on the Pool A ladder with a win and a draw from five matches.
Both Tasmanian sides lost their Tuesday matches at the under-15 championships at Bathurst.

BASKETBALL
At the national under-18 basketball championships in Werribee, the Tasmanian men went down by 10 points to Queensland South.
Lachlan Brewer again led the way in the 79-69 loss, contributing 23 points as Callum Boucher and Ryley Haywood added 25 points between them, Haywood adding three from downtown.
The women lost by an even narrower margin, going down 83-74 to Victoria Metro.
Four Tasmanian players registered double figures with Macey Crawford (19) supported by Zoe Banks (15), Taya Webb (14) and Charli Kay (12).
Banks also sent down three three-pointers in the game.
