The Tasmanian Cricket League's top honour has been split, with Perth's John Hayes and Hadspen's Thanuka Dabare taking home the Jason Savage Medal.

Presented at the association's annual awards dinner, the premier league's highest honour went to the pair, who polled 21 votes, four more than Trevallyn's Daniel Kirk.
Dabare's 949 runs at an average of 73 saw him win the batting average and aggregate awards, while the main bowling awards went to Longford's Kieran Davey (30 wickets at 6.8).

The Sri Lankan star picked up his second Savage Medal in his three Chieftains seasons, with the 2019-20 award won by countryman and teammate Dilan Jayalath.
The tie saw Demons skipper Hayes seal the honour for the first time, rewarded for his 675 runs at 61.36 as well as his bowling statistics of five wickets at 34.8.
The Female Boom's major award also went to a first-time recipient with ACL all-rounder Narine Maurangi crowned the league's most valuable player.
Also playing with South Launceston in Cricket North, Maurangi made 364 runs at an average of 182 to win both batting awards.
Trevallyn's Maxine Woods and Evandale Panthers' Tayla Buchanan both took 11 wickets to share the aggregate award, with the former boasting an average of 5.82.
The association also announced its teams of the year, with premiership coaches Liam Reynolds and Stacey Norton-Smith named top-flight captains.
