The Bridesmaid Must Die tells the tale of Yasmine, a soon-to-be bride on the eve of her wedding.
As she settles in for drinks with her mother and three bridesmaids, secrets start to be revealed.
The play is pitched not as a whodunit, but as a who's going to get it, as the audience decides which bridesmaid will be killed off.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Writer Wayne Tunks said the idea came from his "weird and twisted imagination".
The play was written back in 2004, when Tunks was new to the playwriting scene.
"Weddings can often be so tragic and tragically funny," he said.
"I thought let's do a play about that."
Tunks said he chose to let the audience decide who to kill off because at the time, no one else was doing that in theatre.
"I think one of the best things about the play is that it's interactive," he said.
"It's all in fun, we don't condone killing bridesmaids in real life."
The Bridesmaid Must Die will be staged at the Earl Arts Centre from April 16-25.
