The event was due to take place on Sunday from 12pm to 2pm at Windsor Park as part of the organisation's holiday program.
In a post on the organisation's Facebook page, it said the event had to be postponed due to circumstances beyond their control.
A PCYC spokesperson confirmed there was an administrative error with the venue booking and relevant staff were uncontactable until too close to Sunday to rectify the issue.
"We've made the unfortunate decision to postpone the Colour Run," the Facebook post said.
"We will set a new date next week and advise. We expect it to be [in] 4-6 weeks.
"Apologies for any disappointment caused."
