Ins: Josh Holland, Sam Douglas, Sam Borlini, Jack Triffett, Matty Dennis, Nick Mitchell, Zac Connell.
COACH SAYS: "The recruits have brought a lot of experience, which is something we've probably lacked ... they have a good expectation and they know where their footy has to be.
"We haven't played finals for the last couple of years, so our goal is now to play finals again, get back to where we were at and see where it takes up from there."

COACH SAYS: "We'd like to play finals football this season.
"Getting games into our younger guys was the goal during the Shield season and there will be a few younger guys debut round one, so I think it was a good move.
"It was certainly good to keep them around the footy club as hard as it was."

COACH SAYS: "If you're in the grand final, you set pretty high expectations for the year afterwards albeit with a changing squad this year and a few unknowns.
"We are pretty keen to continue on last year's success and build on that and we think we've put together a pretty good team and the team we had originally has worked hard over the break.
"We are also looking forward to paying our players for their dues this year and their commitments over the last 24 months. To get rewarded again this year, not only with success, but financially as well is a big plus."

"They are going to be playing on some really good players, so I'll give them jobs up against some of them and it will be a good learning opportunity for them.
"The ones that have stuck around [from last season] have all put their hands up to play seniors and they are all up for the challenge."
HILLWOOD

COACH SAYS: "The biggest thing we took was just trying to get blokes to buy in and once the kids are on the same page and they know what's going on, it's a really good vibe at the moment.
"The way the new rules are going I think it's going to help us, which I thought we'd struggle with as obviously we're a lot smaller bodies but I think with the changes, it might help us a fraction.
"The expectation for us is just to gain a bit of respect back, I think we've lost a bit with all the outs - it's a big learning curve this year and hopefully we can just improve each week."
LONGFORD
Coach: Beau Thorp
Captain: Josh Frankcombe
Previous results: Minor premiers - defeated in preliminary (2019)
Ins: Liam Davies, Jaidyn Harris, Connor Pearton, Dylan Headland, James Gillow, Sam Bruinewoud, Luke Murfet-Cohen.
Outs: Aaron Seen
COACH SAYS: "We set out to recruit ... the guys that have played some senior footy at TSL level and they have been fantastic culturally and setting high standards.
"The training standards have really lifted due to the players we've got from the cultures that they've come from with North Launnie and Launnie obviously being the two strongest footy cultures in the state.
"Obviously we fell a bit short in 2019 so the expectations are high coming into this season. I think if you're not aiming high, you're probably not so serious - I think you've got to aim for the top, that's for sure."
ROCHERLEA
Coach: Andrew Cox-Goodyer
Captain: Luke Richards
Previous results: Grand finalists (2020 shield), fourth - defeated in semi (2019).
Ins: Josh Ponting, Scott Reitsema, Mitch Cordell, Gavin Provis, Bailey Wells, Dakota Bannister, Zane Brown.
Outs: Lyndon Stubbs, Sam Maddern.
COACH SAYS: "We made the COVID Shield grand final last year and were a little bit inexperienced coming into that sort of game and got found out a little bit.
"But adding the new blokes in, there's a lot of experience and a lot of leadership coming into the group. We are pretty well covered all over the ground in terms of leaders and experienced players so I think we will give it a fair shake this year.
"If we have any injuries through the year, we will have our young players to fall back on and obviously continue to develop them coming through the club.
"With the amount of ex-North boys that are in our team, they've picked it up really well and the willingness to learn from the rest of the team is good."
SCOTTSDALE
Coach: Ethan Petterwood

LEADER SAYS: "I think we can be considered as a competitive team. We've got a good core group with some good youth as well so we've got a good balance," Lochie Young said.
"We [Connor and I] were obviously in the North Launceston program from when we were teenagers so we are just looking to put the foundations in, in terms of the culture and making sure it's professional.
"Petters is one of my good mates and that's a massive reason of why I chose to go out there, it's a great club with great people and similar to North in that regard."
SOUTH LAUNCESTON
Coach: Anthony Taylor
Captain: Luke Mccarty
Previous results: Fifth - defeated in elimination final (2019)
Ins: Jake Laskey, Cody Lowe, Lachie Cocker, Tom Foon, Bart McCulloch, Sam Rawlings, Billy Jack, Jack Maher, Mitch Hills, Dom Berry, Jordan Furley, Sam Mayne, Jordan Tepper, Patrick Lawrence, Jonothan Lawrence, Claye Young, Jacob Perkins, Joe Boyce, Tom Reinmuth, Tom Beaumont, Toby Lucas, Sam Lucas, Sam Artis.
Outs: Mitch Dunlop, Josiah Lanham
COACH SAYS: "We are obviously rapt with the faces we've got to the club. We've recruited well and got a lot of players back to the club that have been off and had stints elsewhere.
"We've got great numbers at present with our seniors and reserves group and we are starting to build on the under-18s front but that's still a work in progress to get some numbers in the younger age bracket.
"It will take us time to gel ... but we are just looking forward to getting in and playing footy after a substantial time away from the game."
