The full line up was announced today, with Roger Hodgman, Michael Tyack, Natalie Gilholme, Natalie Gamsu and Deone Zanotto setting their sights on Launceston for the festival.

Hodgman is a musical theatre director with experience at the helm of musicals such as Sweeney Todd, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! and has run Melbourne Theatre Company for more than 10 years.

Tyack was recently awarded an Order of Australia for his services to the performing arts how his involved in countless musicals and is preparing to direct Come From Away.

Gilholme was the resident director for the international tour of Matilda, the casting director of West Side Story and the Phantom of the Opera.

Gamsu has performed in Strictly Ballroom, Ladies in Black and Mary Poppins, with Broadway dancer Zanotto involved in Chicago, WSS and A Chorus Line.

Festival executive producer Tyran Parke said he was thrilled with the 2021 offerings.

"After a year of theatres being 'dark', I'm excited about the renewed energy taking to our stages, traditional and otherwise," he said.

There will be a variety of performances on offer including The Sound of Musicals, Once in a Blue Moon, Twisted Broadway where participants will sing songs written for the opposite gender, Heart and Music for an afternoon of song and stories, Choir in the Pub and Jack and Gin, which pairs Tasmanian gins with songs.

In February, headliners Simon Gleeson, Natalie O'Donnell and Callum Francis were also announced and will bring their plethora of experience to Launceston for the annual event.

Gleeson is best known for his starring role as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, but has also appeared in musicals such as Oklahoma, Chess and Love Never Dies.

O'Donnell has starred in Spelling Bee, Crazy for You, Jerry Girls and has acted as both Sophie and Donna in Mamma Mia.

Francis was chosen personally by composer Cyndi Lauper for Lola in Kinky Boots, and has also acted in Miss Saigon, The Lion King and Rent.

The festival will include classes for all ages and abilities, teacher's development programs, performances, panels and concerts across five days.
