NBL side the New Zealand Breakers will be using the facility for six weeks from early April, hosting up to six games.
The scheduling clash has already seen the Northern Hawks move their home opener to the nearest alternative venue 116km away at Ulverstone.
Cavaliers co-coach Dannie Carstens said the possibility of further rescheduling was concerning.
"It's really disappointing for the Silverdome, and more prominently the state government, to devalue and not honour the previous bookings which had been quite long standing with the State League," she said.
"To wipe them aside for something bigger and better in their opinion is a little bit of a kick in the guts."
Carstens also criticised the lack of notice given to both Northern teams, with Hawks president Ann Pearce previously stating the clubs were notified days before the 2021 season start.
"From my understanding, I don't think they [Netball Tas] had any idea they [Silverdome games] were going to be brushed aside - I don't think there was any notice," Carstens said.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT:
"There must have been some conversation in the background with the government and the Breakers.
"I just find it interesting that there was no discussion with other key stakeholders about a flow-on effect and how that might affect other people."
Carstens, and Pearce both voiced concerns about the impact the rescheduling would have at grassroots level for the Northern Tasmanian Netball Association.
"There just seems to be a lack of understanding on how it affects them [NTNA] as well and the importance community sport plays in the lives of everyone," Carstens said.
A May double-header weekend at the Silverdome featuring both the Hawks and Cavs is also in the firing line, with the Breakers still scheduled to be in town.
Carstens said Ulverstone was the closest option, making playing there the only outcome should the double-header fixture need to move.
She said there have been scheduling clashes for the Silverdome in the past, with the latest entanglement once again raising the "clear" lack of infrastructure for netball in the North.
"I don't know whether it's being pushed for hard enough," Carstens said.
"It's always being put on the back-burner and I'm sure it wouldn't happen with any other code such as AFL or basketball that have been prioritised over a predominantly women's-based sport.
"It's unfortunate that someone in government doesn't have girls who are in there [North] playing netball so they get a bit more passionate about that space."
Both Netball Tasmania and Sport Minister Jane Howlett have previously stated that talks were ongoing in terms of finding a solution.
