Tasmania Police are calling for information after shots were fired into a Balfour Street home in Launceston in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Residents of the home woke to glass breaking at about 3.30am, discovering a broken window and light fitting.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Upon cleanup, residents realised the hole in the window was consistent with a firearm and contacted police.
Police doorknocked in the area on Saturday, where people reported hearing two gunshots and a car driving away.
No injuries were reported, although police are concerned that residents were home at the time.
A spokesperson said the incident does not appear to be targeted or connected to the incident in St Leonards on Thursday night.
Anybody who may have noticed unusual activity in Balfour Street between High and George Streets in the early house of Saturday morning to come forward.
