Restrictions are to remain in place for those travelling to Tasmania from the Greater Brisbane area.
The high risk locations include the local government areas of Brisbane, Logan, Moreton Bay, Ipswich and Redlands.
However, the decision will be reviewed in 48 hours following an ongoing assessment of the outbreak.
Anyone who has spent time in any of the areas during the last 14 days will not be allowed to enter Tasmania unless exempted as an essential traveller.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Any affected travellers will need to apply to the Deputy State Controller to enter the state via the G2G PASS system.
Further premises have also been added to the Tasmanian lost of high-risk locations in Queensland and New South Wales.
Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms should contact the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 to arrange a test.
