The Campbell Town Town Hall will be sold off by the Northern Midlands Council after it commissioned a report for its future use.
The council decided to sell the building during the closed section of its March meeting, before it released its decision publicly.
The decision came after the council commissioned a report from consultancy firm Watershed Solutions to identify the possible future usage and opportunities for the building.
